1985 Track Bike
As I need some space i’m parting of my 1985 track bike (Wheelset is newer).
Paint is in very good condition apart from the dropouts (white spot on the reardropout is anti-corrosive paint). Has only been ridden on the track.
I accept all decent offers …. please no lowballin!
Frame: 54cm (C-T), has Rossin stickers but is probably a belgian hand made steel frame

Purple Haze
Last week I was able to lay my hands on a very nice vintage track frame. This handbuilt frame was previously owned by a family who where all into cycling. This frame served for the mother to train on the rolls! Some varnish is crackled due to the loads of sweat dripping off while training! I was very pleased to see the original cinelli pista bar, bar tape and bar ends! Also a very nice 3T Motus Stem, Campagnolo pista crank and seatpost were part of the deal! I wonder if the framebuilder was inspired by 3Rensho, … i can clearly see some influences. Changed the chainring to a 44×18 setup, mounted my earlier found concor profil saddle, screwed in my pedals and off we went for a first ride!

Vintage Track frames en much more
Yesterday on our weekly ride we met the “Dealer Bicycles Crew”! 3 passionate fixers and core to the bone. Karel and Guy, brains behind the operations, run an online shop with very nice vintage track frames. Besides that they can get their hands on parts (yes, … the aerospokes are almost in), copies of cog magazine and much more. check it out!
Third member is a crew rider “Stigen” aka oversteer.
It was fun guys!
Build in 1898, by Emiel Penne van Alost (Aalst),
with parts bought at BSA (Birmingham Small Arms Company).
