A while ago Mine magazine asked FGF to help writing an article and providing them pictures on fixed gear bikes! The issue is ready to be distributed and can be picked up at your local ex-Fortis agencies! As soon as we received our copies we will publish the article! Last weekend I spent in Frankfurt to visit the Bright Tradeshow. As always, this means: spotting new brands and styles, party hard and talk some business. This year I had a really nice chat with Superted and Juliet who were representing the fixed gear scene from London and 14 Bike Co. The future is looking good for the guys (and gals) in London. There are some young talented riders in London and I feel blessed to be hanging around with these guys who will -without a doubt- make history! Let’s meet again sometime soon! Maybe whenever the weather’s a little more agreeable. ps. Odge, if you’re reading this, thx for the T!

CFL 2009

Next sunday, Dec.20th, Studio Brussels is organising a ride-in as part of the Music For Life 2009 campaign against Malaria in the world.

The idea is that you do laps around the Eddy Merckx velodrome in Ghent and pay for it. The more people come over, the better the fund raising will be. Plus, it’ll be HEAPS of fun!

Everybody is welcome, from beginners to pista experts. You don’t even have to own a bike! All you need to bring is a pair of (cycling) shoes and a pair of pedals, and a bike will be provided for you!
